Landscape Supplies

  • One ton of this product will cover approximately 100 sf. This is just an estimated coverage as there are many variables when working with natural stone.

  • Black Chip bark is a long lasting decorative bark best applied around trees, shrubs and flowers for a lush attractive contrast. This bark can also be used for paths and walkways. This bark aids in water retention and assists in reducing weed growth. Black Chip Bark is a colored bark made of cedar wood that is manufactured into uniformed sized chips for an elegant look. Black in color, these chips will aid in keeping the soil warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Recommended application of ground cover/mulch to be applied is a minimum depth of 2-4 inches.

  • Lava rock or 'cinders' is a decorative rock for flower beds and landscapes. This is a fragile rock and is not a good choice for pathways or driveways. Cinders may be added to soil blends to loosen and increase drainage, and Red Lava Infield Fines are used on sports fields.
  • Rock walls in Northern California are commonly made from this field-stone rock called Black Lichen. It is a porous, angular lava rock harvested from the higher elevation hillsides. It is sold by the pound and is usually 8"-14" in size.
  • Naturally tumbled by the ocean on the beaches of Mexico, these pebbles are available in a wide range of sizes. Use them as ground cover, in landscape and garden beds, in planters, or anywhere else an elegant decorative pebble is called for. Black Mexican pebbles are our most popular and best-selling landscape pebble. These pebbles add a uniform and modern look to your landscape.

  • Black Road Base is a 3/4" slate rock with fines. It will pack firmly and can be a solution to muddy areas. It is commonly used for driveways.
  • When installed in landscapes, its nice brown color looks very similar to our Small and Mini bark.  Check it out may be an excellent alternative to bark.  Lava rock or 'cinders' is a decorative rock for flower beds and landscapes.  This is a fragile rock and is not a good choice for pathways or driveways.  Cinders may be added to soil blends to loosen and increase drainage.   *Please note that the rock comes unwashed from the quarry. Rinse/wash it when you're spreading it.*

The neutral colors of the buff pebbles makes them versatile for many different landscape scenes.

  • Cobble 3"-5" is a clean washed river cobble used for decorative ground covering, dry creek beds, ponds and waterfalls. Cobbles this size are sometimes used as drainage rock in leach fields.

  • This product is used for dry creek beds, ponds and waterfall features, and for rock borders.

  • Coral Sea Pebbles are 1/2” and mostly golden colored semi-translucent decorative pebble. A beautiful accent feature in water features, pathways, or almost anywhere in the landscape.  
  • Crusher Dust is a small chipped basalt rock with rock dust. Dark gray/black in color this material is used for pathways. Packs well and is an alternative choice to decomposed granite in many applications.
