  • Moss Rock is the name given to our local field stone and boulders. Brown and covered with attractive blue,green,golden moss. Moss rock comes is sizes ranging from 8" headstones up to 3000lb boulders. Very common feature in our local landscapes.
  • Rock walls in Northern California are commonly made from this field-stone rock called Black Lichen. It is a porous, angular lava rock harvested from the higher elevation hillsides. It is sold by the pound and is usually 8"-14" in size.
  • Also called Rainbow Rock. Same as the larger cobbles these pastel colored stones will give a soft hue to the landscape. Purplish, red, green, and blue tones which are subtle when dry but distinctive when wet. Very nice around fountains, gardens, walkways, planters and even dry creek beds.

  • Paskanta Blue cobble is a smooth river washed stone with a beautiful whale blue color, they are flatish, and range from 3" to 18". Great choice for waterfall streams and fountain features.  
  • One ton of this product will cover approximately 100 sf. This is just an estimated coverage as there are many variables when working with natural stone.

  • Weed fabric is helpful in keeping down weeds.  We recommend a product that will allow water to flow through but block the sunlight.  Use this under gravel walkways, in planter beds and in areas where you want to control weeds in the landscape.

  • Pea Gravel is a small 3/8" minus smooth roundish rock used as a base under concrete, sometimes called "reject".
  • Small Gray cobble 3/4" in size, is a washed gray small river cobble. It can be used for driveways, though it will not pack tight as a crushed rock will. More common uses are dog runs and French drains.
  • Shredded cedar, sometimes described as "gorilla hair", is a hairy or string-like bark that acts as a natural bug repellent due to the cedar scent.
