When installed in landscapes, its nice brown color looks very similar to our Small and Mini bark. Check it out may be an excellent alternative to bark. Lava rock or ‘cinders’ is a decorative rock for flower beds and landscapes. This is a fragile rock and is not a good choice for pathways or driveways. Cinders may be added to soil blends to loosen and increase drainage.
*Please note that the rock comes unwashed from the quarry. Rinse/wash it when you’re spreading it.*
