Sutherland Landscape Center offers an assortment of gravel & sand, including driveway gravel, crushed or chipped gravel, decomposed granite, road base, play sand, sandbox sand, drain rock, lava rock and cinders. Large or small quantities are available.   • Amerimix Polymer Modified Stone Veneer Mortar is a high performance, polymer modified mortar designed with superior bond strength and ability to grout artificial stone on horizontal and vertical surfaces to concrete or masonry substrates.
  • Amerimix AMX 400 Portland Cement, Lime and Sand Mortar is a factory blend of portland cement, hydrated lime, and dried sand with a formulation engineered to provide long water retention, exceptional workability and superior bond strength over masonry substrates. FEATURES AND BENEFITS • Factory blended under controlled conditions for mix consistency • High bond strength • Extended mortar board life, less re-tempering required • Increased yield compared to typical field mix mortars • May be pigmented  
  • Excellent choice for secondary roadways, boat or RV storage. Not recommended for a pathway as the rocks are too big.

  • A charcoal gray crushed basalt used for driveways, pathways. Packs well, cool dark color. Commonly seen in 1" size along railroad tracks.

  • Lava rock or 'cinders' is a decorative rock for flower beds and landscapes. This is a fragile rock and is not a good choice for pathways or driveways. Cinders may be added to soil blends to loosen and increase drainage, and Red Lava Infield Fines are used on sports fields.
  • Black Road Base is a 3/4" slate rock with fines. It will pack firmly and can be a solution to muddy areas. It is commonly used for driveways.
  • When installed in landscapes, its nice brown color looks very similar to our Small and Mini bark.  Check it out may be an excellent alternative to bark.  Lava rock or 'cinders' is a decorative rock for flower beds and landscapes.  This is a fragile rock and is not a good choice for pathways or driveways.  Cinders may be added to soil blends to loosen and increase drainage.   *Please note that the rock comes unwashed from the quarry. Rinse/wash it when you're spreading it.*

  • Brown Lava is a new product. Its nice brown color, when installed in landscapes looks very similar to our small bark and mini bark.  Check it out, it may be a nice, and longer-lasting alternative to bark.  Lava rock or ‘cinders’ is a decorative rock for flower beds and landscapes.  This is a fragile rock and is not a good choice for pathways or driveways.  Cinders may be added to soil blends to loosen soil and increase drainage.   *Please note that the rock comes unwashed from the quarry. Rinse/wash it when you're spreading it.*
  • Cobble 3"-5" is a clean washed river cobble used for decorative ground covering, dry creek beds, ponds and waterfalls. Cobbles this size are sometimes used as drainage rock in leach fields.

  • This product is used for dry creek beds, ponds and waterfall features, and for rock borders.

  • A colorful creek cobble with shades of red, gray, green, and blue. An excellent ground cover for shrub beds.
  • Crusher Dust is a small chipped basalt rock with rock dust. Dark gray/black in color this material is used for pathways. Packs well and is an alternative choice to decomposed granite in many applications.
  • This Decomposed Granite, or Gray DG, is a beautiful gray/blue color.  Very soft and pleasing to the eye. Blends well with many stone options or as a pathway through the landscape.   This material appears as a  large-grained sand, but is actually fine particles of crushed or decomposed granite. This material is used for pathways, or may cover large outdoor areas as an alternative to patio stone. Packs hard and tight with roller or tamper, and may be covered with soil locking stabilizers (see Pathway Stabilizer)  to increase durability and solidity.  Also used in between the joint of flatrock applications.  
  • Large-grained sand but is actually fine particles of granite. It is dark Golden in color. This material is used for pathways, or may cover large outdoor areas as an alternative to patio stone. Packs hard and tight with roller or tamper, and may be covered with soil locking sprays to increase durability and solidity. Also used in between the joint of flatrock applications.
