Black Slate

Black Slate is a classic slate flagstone.  Deep, rich, dark gray/black color is an excellent choice for stepping stones through a shaded area or a Japanese Tea garden.  Elegant simplicity is the quality this stone will lend to your landscape.   Mix with Mexican Pebbles for texture and softness.  Strong, flat and relatively thin, this slate is can be used for many creative design projects. Not recommended for areas receiving long durations of full sun, as it will absorb the heat of a hot summer day.  Make your own Bench from a Select piece of this material.
